The topic  is a noticed, identified but ignored phenomenon “Harassment”

           

What would you mean by this word or what type of thoughts haunt your mindful ideology when you recount this? Let’s get to the renowned idea about ‘what harassment actually is”. It is an intentional, unwelcome offensive behavior to upset or threaten an individual according to Google. We have been listening to different stories related to this but I am going to present a contrastive personal idea.

             Society tags physical harassment at an upper and only level but what about the psychological depression and uneasiness created by intimidating dialogues and comments. Saying Maaa Shaaa Allah, Subhan Allah, Bismillah can never give an Islamic color to your obscene thoughts. Saying a girl wearing jeans or tights like  “ you just have troubled your legs to get into this” or a girl wearing sunglasses  “Is this very hot outside or this sun is pricking and itching my eyes” This is complete stupidity.  We, for our minor fun moment, somehow, successfully manage to shatter the very basic confidence level of a girl which she managed to gather while pacing the first step out of her secured home of father and brother.

       My only point is the kind of psychological harassment that leaves only discomfort, uneasiness, and unhappiness among everybody. The society resists accepting the minor commenting, gestures, or impure staring at any cost. External commenting faced by a girl leaves an internal hesitation that cannot either be exposed to family members easily nor to friends openly. In simple words, this is a humiliating and abusive treatment that causes lower self-esteem and embarrassment.

Physical harassment is only an accepted type in our society but who is going to pay attention to the harassment performed by gestures, stalking, body movements, comments, whistling, dialogues, unwanted contact, unbearable jokes, phone calls, text messages, emails and staring.  Road and street harassment is ranked one here with remarks over body shape, dress or even veiled women confront it.  Low economic status,  family pressure, concealment from family, fear of publicity, and revenge play an accelerator role. ڈر خدا سے،  داسی، ایسی ہے تنہائی، چینح are representative of the harassment which I speak against.

A Daewoo hostess was asked by a worker to marry him. On straight refusal, he did not hesitate to shoot her in an open public place.

       Considering all the emerging problems, the #MeToo campaign started all over the world where girls openly raised voices but still home secured girls could not speak a word about it. The main reason is the family restrictions over the girls for which the girls are not allowed to speak about their situations even if they are being harassed by any of cousin, uncle, or any close relation.

Neither every man is spoiled nor every girl is pious.

But the argument only raises for the type of harassment that is cautiously and purposely ignored.

Tell your kids about bad and good rather the society chooses them for one.
